she thought
she'd let me begin
feeding myself things
other than finger food.
she admits never
letting me do it again, after
last nights mess, will be a small
developmental delay
but she thinks she's be fine
feeding me for the
rest of my life, that way
she will avoid any heartbreak
at never seeing or hearing
from me once i leave home.

i think we've learned the same lesson along the way... perhaps we should've warned you ahead of time and you could've avoided the post-hurricane sylas trauma. :)
